will mark Presentation of Horse and Handler, Performance - how the horse & handler perform
& the conformation of the horse. (Handler conformation will not
be judged!!) Performance & Presentation marks will be displayed but conformation
marks will not. Champion Sash & £30, Reserve Sash & £25. Highest placed

Both owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a
member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to
compete. However in order to Qualify both Owner and Rider/Exhibitor need to be a
current showing member and present their valid Qualifier card IN THE RING for

THE SHOWING REGISTER
- TSR HORSEZONE.CO.UK Regional Finals -
This show is a qualifier for the 2016 TSR
HORSEZONE.CO.UK Regional Finals. Qualify and enter ANY of the Regional Finals
Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, South, Wales & South
West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a
final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of
TSR HORSEZONE.CO.UK Riders Finals - 1st & 2nd riders qualify and
will receive a qualification card in the ring.
TSR HORSEZONE.CO.UK In
Hand Finals - The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will
qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring
by the judge/steward, cards are available FREE from the TSR website. Full
TSR Medal Awards - TSR members
can collect qualification cards & signatures and redeem for a TSR Medal see TSR

BSHA Grass Roots Championships -
With a TSR qualification card you can also enter the BSHA Grass Roots Champs on
the 10th Sept at Addington Equestrian Centre - You do not have to be a BSHA
member to qualify or enter the final. See
TARRA - THOROUGHBRED AND RETIRED RACEHORSE
RoR/TARRA (See Classes 23 & 42)
TARRA Classes: Open to
all Weatherbys (or relevant foreign thoroughbred authority) registered
Thoroughbreds raced or unraced (passports may be checked) any age owned and
shown by an amateur. Racing name of horse and RoR number to be used on entry
form. Horses must be registered with RoR and have a RoR number which has to be
stated on the entry form.
TARRA Amateur definition 2016: An individual
who has not received any remuneration, from the riding or production of show
horses in the last 5 years, sponsorship included. Individuals employed in other
equestrian disciplines shall be classified as amateurs for the sake of the TARRA
show series. Riders are not to have competed at HOYS in an open showing class,
in the previous 10 years. ('Search for a Star' competitors are exempt)
breaches of this ruling will be taken seriously and will result in
disqualification from future classes.

Highest Placed Members in Classes 35, 38, 53 will receive

INTERNATIONAL MINIATURE HORSE & PONY SOCIETY (IMHPS) - MHOYS
Qualifiers - Classes 49-57
1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class are qualifiers
for the Miniature Horse of the Year Show to be held on 1st/2nd October 2016 at
Keysoe EC, Bedford. All exhibits at MHOYS are to be registered with IMHPS and to
be owned by Members of IMHPS. You do not have to be a member of the IMHPS to
take part in classes 49 - 57. Should you qualify you have 14 days to register
with IMHPS for the qualification to hold.
BRITISH MINIATURE HORSE SOCIETY
Classes 54-57 are BMHS Qualifiers. These classes are open to all Miniature
horses regardless of registration and owners and handlers do not need to be
members of the BMHS.
Winners in each class will qualify to compete at the
BMHS Breed Show on 3rd September 2016 provided that the owner and handler of the
horse becomes a member of the BMHS within 28 days of the show. Winners of
classes 55,56,57 will qualify for the 'Star Seeker Championship' to be held at
the BMHS Breed Show in September. To be eligible to compete in the three Open
Star Seeker Classes, horses must not have been placed 1st - 5th at the Horse of
the Year Show or 1st - 2nd at the Royal International Horse Show. The winners of
the three sections for un-registered horses at the Breed Show, together with the
overall Champion at the Breed Show will, subject to vetting, be eligible for the
BMHS Stud Book and will qualify for the RIHS 2017 in its appropriate class.
Horses will not be measured on the day but will be measured when attending the
Championship classes at the BMHS Breed show. All horses put forward for the
Championship must be under the BMHS Maxi height of 92 cms and only those
conforming to BMHS Standard Height of 87 cms are eligible for registration into
the Stud Book and eligible to compete at the Royal International Horse Show
Summer and Budget Shows

Hickstead from Thursday 15th - Sunday 18th September 2016.
